Defence Industry Security Program (DISP)

The DISP, managed by the Defence Industry Security Office (DISO), supports Australian businesses to understand and meet their security obligations when engaging in Defence projects and tenders. It is essentially security vetting for Australian businesses.

In some instances, depending on the type of work you undertake with Defence or any contractual requirements, DISP membership will be mandated. While membership is not mandated in all circumstances, it is highly recommended for businesses currently working on Defence projects or for those seeking to partner with Defence.
